Ms. Cantrell is a native of Littleton, and graduated from Heritage High School before earning a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in History from the University of Northern Colorado. She is skilled in collaboration, creative thinking, research, problem solving, and training, and describes herself as “a lifelong learner and a reflective practitioner.”

Problem Solving—It’s Elementary

Coming from elementary education to consulting is not a traditional path, but for Ms. Cantrell it was perfect preparation. “ Everything I know about problem solving, I learned by being a kindergarten teacher,” she says. “The key is to care, listen, understand, and then develop a solution together.” Cantrell says the best advice she has ever received was to be more interested than interesting, and that she prides herself on “trying to be a mentor when I can and a friend when I can't.”
